Qualcomm’s Graphics PSE team is a part of the Graphics System team and is responsible for the overall quality of the Graphics IP in silicon. As a member of our Graphics PSE team, you will be working closely with architects, designers, verification, and software engineers to help validate and productize the next generation graphics core for mobile devices. In this position, you will be responsible for improving our post-silicon validation coverage and test methodologies through development of unique tools and processes. As a member of the post-silicon team, you will also be responsible with understanding the GPU stack from software down to hardware, working with cross disciplinary teams to drive the debug and improve the quality and performance of our GPUs. We are looking for highly motivated engineers that enjoy working in a dynamic fast-paced environment with minimal guidance. Candidates must have strong communication and teamwork skills, out of the box thinking, and approach difficult challenges as learning opportunities. The ability to pick up concepts quickly and utilize those concepts to problem solve is a must.Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate will have a previous experience working in dynamic environments where work is constantly changing, background in software tool development and debug experience. 3+ years of experience required.Candidates are expected to have experience in:Post-silicon enablement and bring-upEmulation environments for development and debugDebugging low level software, logic, high level softwareDebug tools including JTAG and kernel debuggersGPU and SoC architecturesGPU APIs (DirectX/OpenGL/OpenCL/Vulkan)Understanding of power, performance and thermalExperience programming and debugging in C/C++ or any other object oriented programming.Experience with at least one of: Perl, Python, TCLPreferred Qualifications:Validation and debug of mixed-signal IPFamiliarity with computer arch and design conceptsFamiliarity with GPU APIs (Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL/)Familiarity with ad-hoc tool developmentBasic familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilogFamiliarity with leading edge technology node development and challengesFamiliarity with Android and Windows operating systems
