KOMPAN US is in search of a skilled

Graphic Designer

to join our team, playing a crucial role in transforming fitness and playground plans from AutoCAD into captivating 3D renders, animations, and Virtual Tours using 3ds Max.This position requires close collaboration with Sales Representatives and Site Designers to ensure that the visualizations align with client needs and project objectives. The visualizer will create an engaging and imaginative environment through product selection, customization, juxtaposition, and surface design on projects across the North American region, ensuring the experience of KOMPAN's three tenants of play: Wow, Stay, Develop.This position will collaborate closely with other departments in back office roles such as Pre Sales, Project Sales Coordination, Project Coordination, and Install, as well as on-site colleagues working in the field as Project Managers and Sales Representatives.As a global leader with an organizational focus on people, passion, progress, and performance, our mission is to create healthier and happier communities by delivering the best in play and fitness solutions. We exceed sustainability efforts and make it possible to lower carbon emissions by utilizing recycled ocean waste, consumer-recycled plastics, and textile wastes to create playgrounds that are born green or made green.What You'll DoCreate presentations of playground, outdoor fitness, and other architectural design concepts, theming and design narratives, for client and stakeholder meetings based on images and copy provided by architectural designersCreate high quality designs for mail-out piecesDesign dynamic and striking posters of project designs for public reviewCreate and manage presentation, poster, and graphic templates for use within the design departmentInnovate upon pre-existing workflows, processes, standards, and templatesManage graphic assets used by the design departmentConfer with supervisor and clients in developing materials for projects and designs for print mediaManage brand consistencyTranslate strategic objectives into design elementsUtilize working knowledge of composition, components and conceptsAbility to generate new and original ideas within the parameters of stated objectivesAbility to make subjective decisions regarding subject matter and projectDemonstrate excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detailWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree or greater in an applicable field including Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related fieldFluency in Adobe Creative Suite for PCAbility to create high-quality designs and design optionsDemonstrate the ability to lead a project from conception to printExperience with telling a story through graphic content with a firm command of information hierarchy, design style, and fontProficiency in navigating a pipeline that encompasses various stages and employs multiple software applications that all need to shake handsExperience in interpreting site plans, ensuring accuracy in scale, and comprehending topographical featuresAbility to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment to meet deadlines and visual expectationsCommunicate ideas quickly and clearly through illustration with a strong understanding of appeal and conceptExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at onceOnline portfolio that demonstrates strong design and visualization skillsFamiliarity with AutoCAD & 3D modelling software as well as architecture or construction industry preferredIllustration skills and familiarity with Wacom sketching preferredExperience working with clients / customer relations preferredExperience working in the Architecture and Landscape Architecture industries preferredPassion for creating media showcasing amazing play and fitness environmentsThis is a hybrid position located in north Austin.Perks and BenefitsComprehensive medical, vision, and dental plansEmployer-paid life and disability insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchCompetitive PTO and robust holiday scheduleKOMPAN is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
