We are seeking a creative, thoughtful, and organized Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a key part in the success of RIOS various business goals through the production of documents and content for a variety of RIOS marketing pursuits and platforms. The ideal candidate is engaging, self-motivated, collaborative, and willing to integrate into RIOS office by learning our culture and business goals from the inside out.

Primary responsibilities include:

Assist in development and preparation of targeted marketing materials for new business opportunities including brochures, proposals, and presentationsAssist with the development, preparation, and coordination of award submissionsAssist in content creation for the website, blog posts, conference abstracts, and project descriptionsConduct research for relevant project opportunities across multiple markets and design disciplinesCapture, maintain, and update relevant information needed for the marketing processCollaborate with internal and external pursuit teams to facilitate proposal meetings, establish timelines, deadlines, and prepare data requestsRequirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in Business Administration, Journalism, Marketing, Design or related field4+ years of experience in marketing in the design field2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in the AEC or professional services industriesExcellent Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) skillsAbility to interpret complex documents with demonstrated experience reviewing, organizing, translating, and editing written documents to improve clarityExcellent time management skills including the ability to coordinate multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take initiative in anticipating tasks and to look for ways to add value to the process/procedures of proposal and content creationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written communication and editing skills to develop custom narratives, conduct design storytelling, and convey the brand point of view through written materialsAbility and willingness for occasional light travel
