OverviewRoto-Rooter, headquartered in downtown Cincinnati, is seeking a Digital Marketing Director to lead our performance marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with our VP of Marketing and must possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven history of using research and analysis to drive strategic decisions and continuous improvements in lead generation. While this role does not involve direct campaign management, a solid understanding of SEM and SEO is essential for effective collaboration with agency partners and the major search engines. The primary focus will be optimizing performance across all digital marketing campaigns.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

PPC Campaign Management:

Demonstrated experience managing large PPC strategy/campaigns with a minimum of $5mm in annual spend. Proficient in building media plans and determining budget allocation on a monthly and yearly basis using various forecasting methodologies. Skilled in creating budget and performance projections for testing new search products, partners, or technology.

Strategic Planning:

Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals. Conduct market research and identify target audiences. Assess market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust strategies and innovate marketing initiatives.

Campaign Management:

Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, coordinating with teams/agencies and managing budgets. Prepare effective advertising campaigns based on research, ensuring alignment across teams. Generate post-campaign reports and recommendations.

Multichannel Marketing:

Execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle. Ensure alignment of communications and messaging across all channels. Work with large data sets to market through various channels and segment databases.

Performance Evaluation:

Evaluate the impact of marketing programs on lead flow, pipeline, and ROAS. Identify the effectiveness of current marketing initiatives through tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly. Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:

Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to test and improve demand generation and lead-nurturing tactics. Collaborate with direct reports, colleagues and peers across the organization.

RequirementsQualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEM, and lead generation.

Proficient in GA4, Google Ads, Invoca, Google Search Console, and SA360.

Familiarity with CRO techniques and best practices.

Experience with reporting dashboards such as Looker or Tableau is a plus.

Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities.
