The Sr. Manager, International Marketing for Jelly Belly will have the opportunity to substantially influence Ferrara’s growth trajectory and elevation as a global leader.Reporting to the Head of International Marketing, the Sr. Manager, International Marketing will be charged with liaising with Global and Local teams to develop best-in-class marketing plans and processes.The role is based in Chicago, Illinois and will require 25-30% travel.

Leads Jelly Belly portfolio development and management in-line with 5-year strategic plans across six primary and 12 secondary markets, including motivating cross-functional teams to deliver launches on timeIntegrate Jelly Belly processes, people, strategies, and objectives to leverage strengths from both companies, creating a unified approach to growing sugar candy globallyIn partnership with cross-functional partners, drive-end-to-end optimization of value chain to optimize P&L and drive a profitable portfolioTranslate brand growth objectives into an annual plan to drive the right objectives globallyIn partnership with local markets and relevant cross functional teams, build & deliver the annual marketing plans inclusive of a prioritized mix of marketing activities & investment levels supporting brand launches and continued growthLead international agency relationships and ecosystem, leveraging the scale of Ferrara to disrupt the confection category globallyDrive projects forward with a culture of collaboration, with multiple stakeholders including local markets and counterparts in manufacturing, operations, finance, R&D, commercialization and supplyLiaise with brand counterparts to drive global brand platforms, executing global brands with consistency and excellenceIn partnership with Insights team, lead consumer research across current and emerging marketsSupport the on-going management, continued evolution, and application of the international growth strategy, providing respective inputs into key senior level decision forumsPreparation for relevant senior leadership share outsLead a team of three marketersSkills that will make you successful

Strong leadership: ability to inspire, motivate, and guide resources to a common goal and visionExceptional interpersonal skills: empathy, integrity, enthusiasm, collaborative, driving consensusStrong written and oral communication skills. Bachelors degree, MBA preferred10+ years experience in brand marketing or applicable consulting roles5+ years of people management experienceCPG industry expertise required with a preference in FMCGExperience working on international, multicultural projectsBilingual a plus
