Arcadis is seeking an experienced Manufacturing & Industrial Sector Design Manager to join us as we continue to grow throughout North America. This position is remote and can based anywhere in the US.

Role description

As a Design Manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery on major complex capex projects with primary focus on excellence in Architectural and Engineering design throughout North America. This position has flexible working hours, and you will join a collaborative team that truly values its people. This is a remotely based position and can be performed across the United States and requires someone with a proven Design Manager background in the Manufacturing , Data Center or Industrial sector.

Role Accountabilities

Overseeing multi-disciplinary design coordination and providing technical leadership to project teamsCoordinating with internal and external architects, engineers, designers, consultants, and managers to align strategic objectives and progressActing as primary client point of contact for project execution, planning and leading formal and informal touchpointsLeading client meetings, responding to enquiries, and collaborating across all stages of the project lifecycleSpearheading strategic pursuits, creating winning delivery strategies, fee projections to achieve financial targets of the business, and creating the most advantageous delivery approachTaking responsibility for financial and project management controls which enable monitoring, modification and forecasting as appropriateManaging the acquisition, deployment, and optimization of resources for the projectDriving timely service delivery including technical and commercial outcomes and undertaking reviews, ensuring delivery is above client expectation.Leading multidisciplinary design teams for capex projects within a design and engineering consultancy environmentAbility to effectively implement design delivery best practice including risk and change management, project set-up and planningTravel is required which will include overnight staysRequired Qualifications

10+ or more years' relevant experience, including leadership of the development and implementation of Engineering solutionsExperience working on large multi-discipline design and construction projectsGood written and verbal communication skills that are clear and conciseBe self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible; have the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges dailyBA in Architecture or Engineering related fields focused on the built environmentProven experience in Manufacturing , Data Center or Industrial related sectors as a Design Manager

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $82,400 - $142,140
