Internships at Telemundo New Mexico are paid and do not require course credit.Responsibilities:As a News Intern for our station, you will gain the following experience:Writing/Story Producing:+ Assist with script writing and translating for broadcast+ Create graphics for broadcast+ Log sound bitesEditing:+ Edit videos for linear and digitalDigital:+ Contribute to Telemundo 20 digital content and social media accounts.+ Write and translate scripts for digitalBasic Requirements:+ Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)+ Must be bilingual (English/Spanish= both written and verbal with excellent grammar) being Spanish their strong language.Desired Characteristics:+ AP style writing+ Write and translate scripts for digital+ Desktop video editing using Adobe Premier+ PhotoShop editing+ Interactive graphic development+ Use of content management system for digital publication+ Eager to learn+ Team player with a positive approach to work+ Self-motivated+ Strong work ethic+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentEligibility Requirements:+ In pursuit of an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree at an accredited institution.
