Minimum qualifications:+ 5 years of experience working in partnerships or a similar strategy or business development roles.+ Experience working in the news industry.Preferred qualifications:+ Master's degree, JD, or other relevant advanced degree.+ Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation development.+ Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills regarding contractual, technical, and financial issues with partners.As the Strategic Partner Manager for News Ecosystem, you will be tasked with shaping the future of news on the platform. You will drive the exploration, scoping and execution of new models to bring high-quality news content to YouTube, enabling content experiences for users around the world who come to YouTube for their news, and making news publishing more sustainable for the breadth of the world’s news organizations. You will develop new strategies, products, and programs for the news ecosystem. You will also initiate and manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, troubleshooting partner systems around reporting, content management, and Content ID, and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.In this role, you can quickly analyze a challenge with structured thinking, comfortable with ambiguity and adapt your approach to reconcile with evolving priorities. You are energized working with a global, cross-functional team, have a track record of managing competing priorities and want to be part of an innovative group of thinkers and doers, forging new ground at the intersection of technology and news. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
