Are you ready to experiment with us?The PositionThe Marketing Community Manager is a pivotal role responsible for driving marketing capability development through effective stakeholder management, engaging presentations, and dynamic community engagements such as summits. This position will also focus on fostering new talent connectivity and supporting the lead in executing outside-in efforts to keep the organization at the forefront of marketing innovation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong organizational skills, and the ability to create and manage engaging events and programs that enhance the knowledge and collaboration of our marketing professionals.RelationshipsReports to the Marketing Futures and Excellence Lead. Collaborates with teams across CS&M to establish needed programs for learning and community building. Partners with HR to align learning and development initiatives. Collaborates with various subject matter experts across CS&M and NNI to design and plan content for social collaboration and engagement.Essential Functions+ Running Collaboration Hubs: Design marketing collaboration hub leveraging platforms such as Viva Engage to enhance team collaboration. This involves setting up and maintaining digital spaces where team members can work together on projects, share resources, and exchange ideas in real time+ Managing the Internal Social Community Page: Design, maintain and moderate CS&M’s internal social community platform. This includes posting updates, facilitating discussions, and ensuring that the platform remains an engaging and informative space for all members+ Organizing the Outside-In Speaker Series: This manager coordinates a series of talks and workshops led by external experts, thought leaders, and industry professionals. These events are designed to bring fresh perspectives into the organization, inspire innovative thinking, and keep the marketing team abreast of the latest trends and best practices+ Presentations and Engagements: Deliver engaging presentations and workshops at internal and external events, including marketing summits and conferences. Organize and facilitate marketing summits, ensuring impactful content and valuable networking opportunities for participants+ Organizing Annual Marketing Summits: As an extension of the outside in series and in collaboration with CS&M leadership, organize, plan and execute annual marketing summits. These events bring together the entire marketing team, along with other stakeholders to drive further learning and inspiration, celebrate achievements, and set goals for the future+ The manager ensures that these summits are productive, engaging, and well-coordinated. Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, such as venue selection, scheduling, invitations, and post-event follow-ups. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution+ Community Building: Develop and manage a vibrant marketing community within the NNI, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. Organize and manage community-building events, such as networking sessions, team-building activities, and marketing conferences+ Stay abreast of emerging trends (such as AI) in team collaboration and social community building. Lead pilots to enhance the effectiveness of the marketing community engagement and outcomes+ Budget Management: Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effective event planning and execution+ Performance Management: Evaluate the effectiveness of hub through feedback and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomesPhysical RequirementsApproximately 20-30% overnight travel.Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education, or a related field+ 2+years of experience in a learning and development, event management, or marketing role.
