It takes a certain artistry to make a solid deal, especially when it comes to communications solutions for entire communities. At Cox Communities (a division of Cox Communications) we're looking for a sales-savvy Account Executive who can influence and collaborate with our various industry partners and clients to make that deal happen.

Cox Communities is the division of Cox that delivers solutions, value, and trust for Multi-Dwelling & Single-Family Unit owners, managers, developers, and residents within their communities. The Cox Communities team acts as their client's trusted advisor by supporting them in reaching their business goals of optimizing rents, occupancy, and future-proofing their properties.

What You'll Do

You'll provide solutions, value, and trust for multi-dwelling unit (MDU) and single-family unit (SFU) owners, managers, developers, and residents within their communities. You're there to help them reach their business goals, optimize their occupancy and future-proof their properties. Cox can deliver all of that and you're the person to make it happen!

Here's a peek at your day:

  • You'll negotiate residential service agreements.
  • You'll ensure all agreements and contracts are accurate, complete, and align with company standards and system strategies.
  • You'll identify and assess service opportunities in various territories, evaluating their value and serviceability.
  • You'll assess the telecommunications and entertainment needs of potential clients, deliver product presentations, and suggest solutions that complement the customers' business strategies.
  • You'll serve as a community ambassador of Cox Communications, recognized as an MDU subject matter expert.
  • You'll establish a presence in the community through participation and leadership of relevant boards, groups, and committees.
  • You'll anticipate the MDU residents' next need and provide opportunity, direction, and feedback to local & ATL MDU team members.

Who You Are

You're our client's trusted adviser. Ethical sales practices are important to you. You'll have a lot of irons in the fire for every deal, and you're driven by detail down to every dotted "I" and crossed "T."

Minimum Qualifications:

You also meet these requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field (Degree, industry, or skill). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience, or 10 years of experience in a related field with no degree.
  • Safe drivers are needed; a valid driver's license is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools, database tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS & SAS.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  • Adept at data analysis and interpretation to make data-based decisions. Uses data to evaluate whether potential Cox Communities agreements add value to the company and determine if further penetration is possible from existing agreements.
  • A strong understanding of business acumen.
  • Strong sales and negotiation/strategic prudence.

USD 65,200.00 - 97,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $65,200.00 - $97,800.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $36,000.00.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
