Scopely is looking for a Director of Social Marketing to join our Monopoly GO team in our Culver City Hub on an hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become Scopely’s largest game, enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

As a Director of Social Marketing at Monopoly GO you will play a pivotal role in nurturing our expanding creator ecosystem while overseeing the growth and engagement of the game’s social content strategies on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Your strategic vision, leadership skills, and passion for great social content will contribute to fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment that resonates with players and new audiences worldwide.

What You Will Do :

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of experienced managers,
  • Set clear goals, provide guidance, and evaluate team members' performance, facilitating professional growth
  • Act as a liaison between our creators and the product team, effectively communicating and advocating for their needs and ideas
  • Serve as the main point of contact and advocate for content creators, developing our Official Creator program and building strong relationships
  • Foster a sense of community among creators through regular communication, virtual events, and networking opportunities
  • Develop and execute an innovative and fun social media strategy that grows our followers and aligns with Monopoly GO’s brand identity and community engagement goals
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content tailored to specific social media platforms
  • Monitor social media trends and manage brand reputation
  • Utilize analytics tools to track community engagement metrics, sentiment, and social media performance, deriving insights to inform strategies
  • Provide regular reports to senior management, detailing the effectiveness of community and social media initiatives and suggesting improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • +8 years of experience in social marketing in the entertainment, games or consumer realm
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and build rapport with content creators, internal stakeholders, and the product team
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure program performance, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strategic thinking and creativity in designing and executing marketing campaigns to promote creator content
  • Experience working with Social Media Reporting tools
  • Working on site in Culver City, CA for 2 days a week
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $160,000 - $190,000 plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience .
