We’re looking for people who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, demonstrate a high degree of product ownership, and want to have fun while they make history.In this role, you’ll have independent technical ownership in designing and building highly scalable test automation solutions spanning end to end functional test automation frameworks, productivity tools, quality dashboards, and performance testing. You’ll work directly with product and engineering teams to drive quality to the left and enable full CI/CD deployments by leveraging the solutions you’ve built. You’ll have unique opportunity to define strategies and roadmaps for the org in how to apply test automation techniques for voice-user-interface products.Key job responsibilities- Design and build the automated test frameworks and test suites for use in development and testing cycles.- Identify and tackle intrinsically hard problems in unblocking automation.- Design and develop tools which will help Developers/Testers to improve their efficiency and quality.- Collaborate with development teams and your team peers to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation.- Lead and actively participate in design reviews, aligning teams across your organization towards coherent architectural and testability strategiesA successful candidate must have a solid history of delivering results, obsession with quality, be detail oriented, a team player, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up like environmentAbout the teamThe Alexa Voice QA team in Fire TV Experience is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Alexa Video platforms and features for Alexa customers. Video Domain team is responsible for video providers and consumers to leverage the power of Alexa to deliver world class entertainment experiences. We work with partners both internal and external to provide world class test infrastructure, tools and support in delivering best Alexa Video experience. .Basic Qualifications- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience- 3+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design- Experience in penetration testing and exploitability-focused vulnerability assessmentPreferred Qualifications- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web servicesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
