Apply today!**Key Responsibilities:**The Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Communications and Engagement is responsible for creating, leading and driving a strong, communications strategy that both educates and promotes safety and United’s Cybersecurity and Digital Risk program. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing strong partnerships across the airline operation, with the Corporate Communications and relevant external audiences. Given the breadth of the cybersecurity agenda, the Senior Manager must show good judgment, and be a flexible, self-starter eager to drive and manage a communications and engagement program.+ Develop, implement, and support an innovative, enterprise cybersecurity communication, engagement, and promotion strategy+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and coordinated messaging on cybersecurity-related topics+ Lead the communications and planning for major cybersecurity promotion efforts and events including National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, corporate safety fairs, town halls, social media, external engagements, conferences, etc+ Develop content (ex. Power Point, written material, talking points) for a variety of cybersecurity focused discussions including: the United Board of Directors meetings; Enterprise Risk Management Committee meeting, internal meetings; industry presentations; and any executive cybersecurity communications+ Champion for cybersecurity learning development, diversity, and inclusion efforts+ Collaborate with external vendors, subject matter experts, and industry partners to gather relevant information and leverage external resources for communication purposesUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. We are always looking for individuals who will bring something new to the table.**Qualifications****What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):**+ Bachelor's degree required+ 7+ years relevant communications experience+ 3 years leading and coaching teams to their highest potential+ Professional writing experience (writing / editing or managing content for websites, apps, etc.)+ Experience interfacing and advising all levels of employees and management as well as with outside agencies and organizations+ Built relationships with stakeholders across all levels and departments+ High-level knowledge of cybersecurity+ Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently+ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and consistency in all communications+ Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position**What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):**+ Master's degree in Journalism, English, Technical Writing+ Knowledge of AP style+ Previous work with a big brand or large global enterpriseUnited Airlines is an equal opportunity employer.
