**Work Schedule**Standard (Mon-Fri)**Environmental Conditions**Office**Job Description**We are looking for a passionate SEO Specialist to join our multifaceted Global Search Team in the Biosciences Division, nested under the Life Sciences Group. This role supports technical SEO activities, including SEO reporting, data analyses, and SEO Site audits.Interested in becoming part of an SEO journey in a leading life science company? With the enormous organic potential to unlock, there are plentiful SEO activities to pursue. This role is expected to support and lead varying SEO initiatives. This covers, but is not best-in-class to technical audits, SEO market research, content support, and reporting insights.A world-class SEO practitioner eager to support on the ground, pivot between projects and help push initiatives as needed. You will be a point person to answer questions about SEO from curious and excited colleagues in addition to collaborating regularly with the content team.Join our team of hard-working learners to evolve new systems and round-out your skills. As a crucial member of the SEO team, together we will go above and beyond to enable our internal customers to accomplish business objectives!Location: Carlsbad, CA onsite**What you will do:**+ Work with Web Production, Digital Marketing Managers, and Web Content teams to help drive on-page strategy and optimizations+ Pulling analytics data and use it to derive SEO insights+ Support general inquiries on SEO from business partners and colleagues+ Work with corporate teams to optimize and support Technical SEO requests+ Set up dashboards and reports to supervise overall SEO performance and project-based initiatives+ Conduct detailed keyword research to uncover new areas of opportunity+ Provide competitive and market opportunity analyses as they relate to search intent, competitor specialised saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies+ Work with the divisional Paid Search team on strategies to increase SERP coverage and improve profitability for the business+ Support the video team to optimize videos for YouTube and other platforms+ Collaborate with the other team members on new and innovative ways to incorporate AI into our workflows**How you will get there:****Education:**Bachelor’s Degree required.**Experience:**+ 3+ years in SEO with a demonstratable record of optimizing content heavy sites, and domains with over 10,000 URLs.+ Knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO and search engine ranking factors.+ Looker Studio, Google Search Console, SEMRUSH, Screaming Frog, Adobe, or similar analytics tools.+ Strong analytical skills and an ability to draw conclusions from data and make impactful recommendations.+ Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills.+ Superb communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation.+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle various tasks in support of project completion.+ Experience optimizing for YouTube and other video platforms**Bonus (Nice to Have):**+ Experience optimizing websites within the Life Science industry.+ Experience with video optimization tools such as Tube Buddy or VidIQ**Compensation and Benefits**This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
