Technical Writer_

**Description**SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer to support a large federal government agency. The position will have a hybrid telework arrangement with on-site presence one day a week, at a secure government facility.Work schedule will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Work location and schedule subject to change based on government requirements.**Description of Duties:**+ Writes and updates material for websites, reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instructional material, how-to's, quick guides, Frequently Asked Questions, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance.+ Refines work of writers, and heads and coordinates activities of writers engaged in preparing technical material for publication in conjunction with or independent from engineering, research, development, and related activities.**Qualifications****Required Education & Experience:**+ Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience; masters and 1 year; Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.+ Excellent written communications and grammatical skills in English with strong attention to detail.+ High proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) and Adobe products.+ Ability to read, write and interpret technical documentation.+ Ability to write in plain English focused on non-technical audience.**Required Clearance:**+ US Citizenship.+ Ability to obtain secret security clearance.+ Ability to obtain interim secret clearance prior to starting work.**Desired Experience, Skills, & Attributes:**+ Multimedia skills such as graphic design and video production a strong plus.+ Previous government experience.Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
