Title: Project Document Controller / WriterLocation: Hybrid (Washington, DC)Duration: 1+ years ContractRate: $OpenMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree required OR equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Demonstrated instructional writing skills and experience to provide clear and concise direction on technically complex equipmentProficiency in communicating technical information to various stakeholders and related technical staffEdit and proofread their own work and the work of other specialists to ensure the documents they create are free of grammatical mistakes and technical inaccuracies.Self-starter with project management skills, constructive critical thinking skills, organizational skills, and ability to work independentlyProficient PC skills, with expert command of Microsoft Word and ExcelExcellent written/oral communication skillsFlexibility to work extended hours if requiredRequirements6-9 years of experienceKnowledge in technical fields such as physical security, engineering, computer science, or information systems.Demonstrated experience/working knowledge of various data management business systems including Procurement, Work Management, Business Operations, and TrainingSome experience in railroad related or similar transportation or industrial activity with well-developed understanding of technical concepts, terms, and various fleet and equipment nomenclature.
