Dekker Perich Sabatini is seeking an experienced commercial Interior Designer to use their communication skills to collaborate in a team-oriented environment on highly creative designs for multiple projects. As passionate and self-driven team members at DPS, candidates would play a key role in creating inspired interiors backed by the support of a firm that has been a staple in the industry for over 60 years.

Responsibilities:

Conduct all facets of a project, from research and space programming through conceptual design, construction documentation, and construction administrationPerform the work as well as direct the work of junior designers, as neededWork under the direction of senior designers in some instancesManage workload across multiple projects, teams, and schedulesConduct programming meetings for a variety of project typesLead client meetings and team coordination sessions, develop and deliver client presentationsPrepare construction documents and Masterspec architectural specifications for projects of varying scope and size on a variety of commercial product typesCreate 3D renderings, commercial finish palettes, and other presentation materials throughout the project process to communicate design intent to both internal teams as well as clientsPrepare furniture selections, develop furniture specifications, and create competitive FF&E bid packagesAttend site visits, punch lists walk-throughs, and OAC meetings; conduct submittal and RFI review; and perform other essential duties during project constructionUtilize multiple software platforms to create compelling visuals of design ideasQualifications

This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite required. Applicants must live in the El Paso, TX metro area.A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial Interior Designer or ArchitectBachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture requiredNCIDQ certification preferredProfessional experience in and knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is required.Foundational knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Rhino, Sketchup, Lumion, and Enscape is ideal.
