We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator / Proposal Specialist to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wilson Engineers has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Specialist. Our perfect candidate will have a minimum of 5 years prior marketing experience working for an engineering, architecture, or construction company.
This position requires 40 hours/week in our Tempe office and is responsible for leading our marketing and proposal efforts in support of our marketing and branding strategies. We are seeking candidates who possess above-average graphic design, technical, communication, and organizational skills and can manage our proposal process.
Responsibilities:
Pursuits, Proposals, and SOQ's (80%)In coordination with the Marketing Manager, helps lead project pursuits, manage pursuit processes, and follow quality procedures for document production for the full pursuit lifecycle, including interview preparationPrepares, assists with, and tracks proposals, statements of qualifications, and other marketing collateral from concept through completionComposes, edits, and creates graphic material and prepares staff resumes and project experience needed for proposals and SOQ'sWorks with Project Managers and Engineers to coordinate responses between relevant internal departments to develop messaging and content for proposalsComplete technical tasks such as creating graphics, layout templates, proofreading, preparing review drafts, and final editsResponsible for timely production and quality of marketing deliverables and communicationsMarketing Promotions, Presentations, and Digital Marketing (20%)
Assist in developing communications campaigns with ideas for e-mail blasts: project news, employee promotions, and thought leadershipHelp create content and graphics for the Intranet and WebsiteAssists in the coordination of trade shows and special events, including developing conference concepts, promotions, and artworkRequirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience5 years of experience in engineering, construction, architecture, or similar industryMust have above-average experience with executing competitive Proposals/SOQ'sAbove-average proficiency in graphic design using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorAbove-average proficiency in PowerPoint and WordExcellent communicator, both written and verbalStrong organizational skillsHave a passion for creating high-quality finished productsCreative thinker/problem-solverWorks well under pressure to meet deadlinesBenefits
