*Summary Description: *

Responsible for performing a variety of duties primarily supporting the Service Department and our customers in the area of truck and fleet repair. Performs a variety of customer services and contributes to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the Service Department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative assistance supporting a high volume Truck Service team.Communicates the diagnostic procedure and repair estimate as well as commitment of payment with the customer. Gathers required signatures.Asks relevant questions regarding repair or service request to ensure proper servicing of vehicle.Open RO's, build estimates, review technician notes and update customer information.Close RO's, accept payments, assist customers with credit/financing options.Promptly addresses and resolves customer concerns and service follow-up issues.Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening.Maintains open communications with our technicians, management team and customers regarding job/repair status changes.Continuously work to build customer and vendor lists by collecting and updating information.Building productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communications.

Promotes cooperation and teamwork among technicians and support staff.

Customer Service:

Interacts with customers in a friendly manner, provide customers with sales materials and educates them on company promotions.Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns and make sure the problem is corrected to the customer and dealership's satisfactionTreat customers fairly and with honesty, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service.

Follows up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service they received.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Experience with Freightliner, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins is a plus.Ability to speak effectively one on oneAbility to effectively listenAbility to interpret customer needsBasic computer skillsHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Good organizational skills
