General Description:

The Customer Enterprise Team Marketing Senior Manager / Associate Director will be responsible for coordinating various cross-functional marketing projects, primarily those involving our Regional Marketing (RM) team. This role is intended to think strategically about how we interact and execute tactics that involve our key opinion leaders, including conferences and congresses, speaker bureaus, advisory boards, and other ad hoc projects. This role will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Access, Analytics, Legal/Compliance, partner agencies, and external customers in pulling through these tactics. Although primarily operational to start, this role will evolve over time to include the development and execution of marketing tactics to support the launch of BeiGene’s oncology products.

Essential Functions of the job:

National Congress/Conference support:

Partner with congress planning team to execute large hematology specific congresses and major conferences such as ASCO, EHA, ICML, iwCLL and ASH

Developing pre-brief materials and presentation to senior leadership and marketing as needed

Scheduling, calendaring, and coordinating KOL Touchpoints for Regional Marketing team

Coordinating and planning of congress receptions – including collaborating with marketing and congress hosts, identifying location, partnering with vendors, overseeing PRC approval of reception materials, and handling all logistics

Developing relationships with society coordinators / vendors to identify sponsorship opportunities including product theaters, receptions, and local summits

Regional Congress Management:

Partnering with marketing to understand brand priorities and strategic objectives to be able to make approval decisions on new opportunities

Partner with sales leadership to determine appropriate distribution of program budget

Work with promo team and local sales team to determine on-site logistics – e.g. booth set-up, attendance, coverage, and PRC materials

Submit and manage all marketing sponsorship applications and coordinate submissions with supporting organization

Identify, evaluate and support virtual exhibit development based on strategic criteria

Work with agencies and PRC to approve congress materials and ensure all materials are updated and available on-site

Manage additional benefits/promotional opportunities with organization in collaboration with marketing – e.g. ads, door drops, etc.

Speaker Bureau Coordination:

Work with Regional Marketing, agency, and sales leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness with speaker bureau operations

Partnering with Legal to monitor speaker-related compliance issues and develop plan to ensure all goals and milestones are met

Advisory Board Planning:

Support the development and submission of Annual Advisory Board Plan and Individual Advisory Board Plans

Assist Customer Enterprise Team to implement logistics and disseminate follow-up deliverables

Content Management:

Own master documents including: KOL Playbook, Conference Tracker, Advisory Board Calendar, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

Manage Customer Enterprise Team Budget

Execute and manage contract/SOWs and MSAs through partnership with Legal & Procurement

Serve as team “super user” of Compliance data base (Engage)

Coordinate brand and functional partner requests for projects involving RMs or KOLs

Assist marketing teams with various projects involving RMs as needed

Qualifications:

Prefer minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry marketing or related experience (e.g. consulting, agency account services, etc.)

Experience managing marketing budgets with inputs from numerous vendors / agencies

Project management skills with superior time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines

Expert computer skills - spreadsheet and presentation development required

Highly skilled in collaboration and influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences

Takes initiative and able to successfully work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands

Strong organization, strategic agility and ability to move quickly between tasks while ensuring quality

Solid understanding of legal and regulatory environment related to promotional and non-promotional activities

Orientation to teamwork and customer service: enjoys supporting internal and external partners/stakeholders and is regarded as a "team player"

Familiarity of marketing and sales organization and structure, prior sales experience or working with sales teams preferred

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives & goals

Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of BeiGene activities

Business travel, by air or car, is required for regular internal and external business meetings
