Job Summary:

OpenGov is seeking a skilled Marketing Operations Manager to join our dynamic growth marketing team. This role spans a variety of cross-functional responsibilities including scalable processes, marketing automation, Marketo administration, campaign reporting and optimization, database management, marketing analytics, and lead generation. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our marketing initiatives are effectively executed, measured, and optimized to drive maximum impact and efficiency.

Responsibilities:Develop and implement marketing operations strategies to optimize processes and campaign performanceCollaborate with cross-functional go-to-market leaders (revenue operations, sales, customer success, etc.) to align marketing initiatives with business objectivesManage marketing automation platform (currently Marketo)-working closely with business systems team on Salesforce integration, field mapping, automations, and troubleshooting and other field / operational teams to understand and communicate any changes or implications on existing processesDrive ongoing development and optimization of lead lifecycle workflows, data enrichment, lead scoring, segmentation, and multi-touch drip nurture campaignsManage marketing database-including quarterly updates, enrichment, cleansing, deduplication, and segmentation-to maintain data quality and integrity and ensure consistent go-forward and historical reportingCreate and maintain marketing dashboards to track and socialize key metrics and campaign effectiveness-providing insights and recommendations for improvementAnalyze demand generation budget and ROI reporting, working with the team to ensure all marketing spend is accurately tracked back to quarterly/annual plansCreate and maintain documentation of growth marketing processes and SLAs with other departments (SDRs, Sales, etc.)Assist with the development of paid digital ads (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook) and traditional marketing campaigns to ensure campaigns are tracked appropriatelyManage list imports and attribution reporting from conferences, content marketing, and other marketing activities to drive an efficient handoff to the sales teamChampion best practices in various marketing technologies, including Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Terminus, LeanData, ZoomInfo or similar database tool, and Domo or similar BI toolRequirements and Preferred Experience:

3-5 years of experience in marketing operations management requiredPower user of Salesforce and Marketo to manage lead database and run lead scoring and email nurture campaignsSkilled user of Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros, to streamline data analysis and reporting processesGrowth mindset, ready to dive in and learn as much as possible in your first 3 monthsLeadership skills to take ownership of the marketing operations function & cross-functional workstreamsImpeccable attention to detail and attention to deadlines while handling a large number of tasksHighly analytical with the ability to synthesize complex information and datasets into actionable insightsComfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment with an "all hands on deck" mentalityPassion for technology, excellent communicator, and a desire to learn and improve processesB.A. in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field of study preferred
