Marketing and Communications ManagerRed Sky Services LLC, is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies on behalf of a conservative 501(c)(4) and a technology startup.The ideal applicant will be passionate about conservative political causes and will also be experienced in communicating across a wide variety of in-person, direct, and digital mediums. The Marketing and Communications Manager will report to the Director - and will work collaboratively to generate strategic content and events to communicate with voters, meet business marketing needs, and advance the conservative movement in the state of Georgia and nationally.Responsibilities Include:Updating collateral for both internal and external consumption, including press releases, social media copy, newsletters, talking points, and background research.Designing social media graphics, advertisements, one-pagers, events and slide decks.Assisting with media management, including pitching and placing stories, tracking media engagement, and organizing media events.Managing the online presence, including social media pages, websites, and email marketing outreach.Identifying messaging opportunities and providing innovative thought leadership on timely issues, events, and opportunities to communicate creatively and effectively with the public.Conducting research and message testing as needed to support a range of communications efforts.Requirements:3+ years of communications experience. Previous political experience, especially in Georgia politics or campaigns, is strongly preferred.Excellent writing and editing abilities, including concept and issue development.Strong research abilities, including the ability to find and synthesize technical bodies of work such as legislation, campaign finance reports, and open records requests.Experience in producing a range of content, including press releases, social media copy, website content, newsletters, briefings, etc.Graphic design experience and proficiency in Canva is strongly preferred.Must be reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver results and manage projects in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.Must have a strong commitment to advancing the conservative movement and ideals.
