This position exists to help the Communications Coordinator in developing digital content, social media assets, and planning and executing the Minnesota State Fair booth.

Minimum Qualifications

Resume must demonstrate the following qualifications:

Currently enrolled or will be enrolled in a degree program during summer/fall 2024 term.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience working with basic video editing software and social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, etc.

Ability to interpret and present information in graphic form from research projects.

Skills in organization in order to help plan events.

Preferred Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a higher education program for communications, marketing, or journalism.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities.

Experience using basic graphic design such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Physical Requirements

Ability to position self and move sufficiently to perform repetitive tasks.

Maintain a stationary position for long periods of time.

Ability to carry up to 20 pounds of weight on an infrequent basis.
