Housing Works fights for funding and legislation to ensure that all people living with HIV/AIDS have access to quality housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment, among other lifesaving services.

Benefits:We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. Housing Works covers most of the plan; you pay a portion, based on your salary. Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly commensurate with experience.

Overview:

This role plays a pivotal role in optimizing the quality and cohesion of a de-centralized marketing model within our organization. The Brand Manager Marketing will work closely with the Senior Director, Brand Strategy to partner on logistics and production for major campaigns and initiatives and will work with great autonomy to manage a portfolio of creative marketing needs for Housing Works Programs. This role involves implementing organization-wide brand guidelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, project managing and overseeing campaigns and deliverables, and being a trusted resource for leaders across the organization. This position is classified and requires a minimum of 2 days in the office in SOHO. See additional hybrid work details below.

Responsibilities:

Primary:

Oversee the management and implementation of Housing Works corporate brand kit.Execute and oversee marketing campaigns and deliverables for Housing Works programs including Community Health Centers (FQHCs), Cannabis Retail, Prevention Services, Harm Reduction, and Advocacy, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business goals.Manage all copywriting, editing, and design consultation for program-related marketing content to ensure compliance with Brand Guidelines and mission.Create and refresh design templates in Canva (or similar) for agency-wide useOversee implementation of P&Ps related to brand kit and owned channels (CRM, social media)Work closely with key staff across the organization as well as manage all design-related consultants and service providers to ensure successful project management, budget adherence, and high-quality, on-brand deliverables for programs.Leverage current marketing trends and technology in collaboration with cross-functional teams to execute engaging, high-performing omni-channel campaigns.Stay current with industry trends and best practices; recommend new tools and strategies.Analyze and report on campaign and project performance.Secondary:

Occasional graphic design for miscellaneous corporate brand assets (e.g. print advertisements, agency-wide memos)Updating and maintaining website content, other digital content, as needed.Develop relevant marketing-related training tools/resources for agency staff, as needed (together with training area)Other functions that may be required with this position include:

Participate in agency-wide working groups and committees.Present to donors, donor groups, and/or corporate volunteers.Update and submit all required compliance documents (together with outside counsel) annually.Minimum Requirements

Education

BA/BS required (Masters degree preferred)Qualifications

3-5 years of development or other transferable work experienceExcellent communications skills, able to communicate effectively through emails, social channels, in person, during events and in demanding situations.Must have strong writing skills with the ability to write adaptively to various formats.Superior organizational and project management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SalesforceAcute sense of judgment, tact, and professionalismEnthusiasm for Housing Works mission and nonprofit work a mustSelf-starter with ability to work both in teams and individuallyStrong attention to detail, research, and analytical skillsAbility to work simultaneously on multiple projects and prioritize tasksThe following competencies are viewed as important to success in this position:

Mastery of Adobe Suite design toolsSuperb writing skills, Impeccable English Language skills, able to generate copy that requires minimal edits - experience with writing for publication.3-5 years of hands-on experience in a design/branding management role3-5 years of direct experience in marketing production and campaign managementExperience with and proven commitment to working with low-income and marginalized communities, and individuals with multiple chronic medical and/or behavioral health conditions.Working Conditions

Must be able to remain in stationary position 70% of time. Frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets, paperwork, office machinery, etc.Operates PC computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine and computer printer.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally assist with moving boxes and other items as necessary.Frequently communicates (exchanges information, converse with, confirm work order to completed) with clients, vendors, supervisors, community at large, management, reporting.Excellent verbal and written communications skillsOccasionally required to traverse public transportation to attend meetings, events, or other Housing Works locations throughout New York CityIn-office Noise level is quiet to moderate.This position is classified as hybrid, and the employee can choice to work remotely up to three days a week. We will not consider fully remote candidates. Its expected that the employee will have a residence in the greater New York Metropolitan area, including NJ, CT, and/or PA.
