JOB TITLE: Web Developer 4LOCATION: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)DURATION: 10 monthsRATE RANGE: $47.00 - $57.00/hr (W2)TOP 3 SKILLS:Subject Matter Expert experience in web-based IT solutions Java and/or web programming, including JSP, Servlets, JDBC, web services, mobile, Angular, React, React Native, VueJS, JSON and HTML web development,Expertise in relational database design (i.e., Oracle, DB2, etc.), including SQL queries, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, DB2; and application development including APIs, microservices, and modern technology architecturesHands-on developer application server experience, including Apache Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server or equivalent technology.JOB DESCRIPTIONAnalyzes, designs, develops, tests, and maintains software programs based on customer requirements, using development standards and software development lifecycle process. Daily tasks include identifying requirements for digital transformation; planning 3rd party integrations, planning and developing native code; contributing to build vs. buy decisions; and coding, testing, documenting, error handling, and mitigating performance improvements in the development life cycle. Demonstrates technical expertise and programming skills for assigned code base, develops new coding skills as required; establishes repeatable guidelines and scalable standards; and leads cross-disciplinary team to deliver solutions that meet business, technical, and user requirements.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional technical programming experienceSubject Matter Expert experience in web-based IT solutions Java and/or web programming, including JSP, Servlets, JDBC, web services, mobile, Angular, React, React Native, VueJS, JSON and HTML web development,Expertise in relational database design (i.e., Oracle, DB2, etc.), including SQL queries, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, DB2; and application development including APIs, microservices, and modern technology architecturesHands-on developer application server experience, including Apache Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server or equivalent technology.Developer experience in AWS, public cloud, Azure or equivalent.Experience with a variety of development life cycles including waterfall, Agile, Rational Unified Process - RUP, etc.Object-oriented programming experienceAbility to work well in a team who have varying levels of technical and non-technical expertise.Ability to manage project schedules, sprint planning, and full development life cycle working closely with project management to coordinate resources and timelines.Demonstrates decision-making and communication skills to address customer issues, as well as analyze and clarify a new project assignments.Demonstrates technical writing skills, situational awareness, and professional customer communication, time management, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
