Marketing Coordinator

you will be part of a team that strives to provide best in class service to customers in over 3.2 million square feet of full-service commercial office buildings in the Tampa Market. We're seeking someone passionate about marketing and being part of a team that crafts dynamic experiences and fosters a sense of community for our diverse customer base within the portfolio.

The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role supporting the leasing team by providing marketing expertise and assistance in support of leasing activities to increase brand awareness, secure new customers and retain existing customers. A trusted resource for the division, also assisting with the marketing needs of other departments, while keeping a keen eye on maintaining Highwoods brand standards.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Serve as the day-to-day liaison between division marketing and corporate marketing resourcesResearch the local market to gain a solid understanding of commercial office real estate data and industry trends within the marketAct as the go-to resource for up-to-date, accurate research and market informationCreate and manage marketing plan and drive the day-to-day plan implementation and tracking in support of customer acquisition and retention objectivesDevelop and create content for marketing materials, including brochures, emails, website, data sheets, floor plans and moreEncourage social media presence at the market levelAssist with leasing proposals that need graphic enhancementProduce/support Corporate Marketing with all responses to Request for ProposalsPrepare vacant spaces for property tours as well as coordinate property tours for prospective customersManage broker contact list in SalesforceManage CoStar and LoopNet presence, push emails, keeping data currentCollaborate with other departments to develop a higher standard and best practice approach to the customer experiencePlan/coordinate broker and customer events; coordinating with property management during event planningAssist with local partnership marketing efforts and external marketing opportunities that leverage our assetsManage and maintain market information on HIW.com including quarterly checks, building additions/removals, suite/floor information and update photosManage floor plans, site plans, building photography, etc. in digital and hard copyChampion division marketing programs and initiatives and provide periodic project updates by attending regular communication meetings with the Corporate Marketing teamExperience:

We are looking for a team player who is well organized and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible and possess the the ability to work independently, multi-task and meet critical deadlines. An individual with good writing skills and a desire to be on a team of positive, success-minded individuals who are dedicated to customer satisfaction

Additionally, we are seeking someone with the following:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field2-4 years of proven work experienceSolid computer skills including MS Office ProfessionalInDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat experience requiredDatabase/research skills helpful

Work environment / Physical requirements:

This role operates in an office setting; routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and video conferencing equipment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see; to use arms and hands to reach and handle; type on a computer keyboard and use a phone. The ability to read, understand, and to communicate information and ideas clearly in writing and verbally is also required. The employee may occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as well as lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
