Experienced Media Sales

Account Executive . An Account Executive sells advertising to local businesses and negotiates impressions and rates with ad agencies. You will also solicit new businesses to advertise on TV and a variety of digital platforms. Produce revenue across all available platformsProspect, contact and present to new businessesDevelop new revenue through local business developmentForm strategic and market partnershipsManage an active account/client listConceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals that are consistent with station strategiesAchieve individual sales goals while contributing to KCCI's dynamic sales teamRequirements

3+ years in media or digital sales, or similar sales fieldExperience with the development of new business/non-traditional businessHave strong negotiation skillsExperience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphereAccountability within a goal-structured organizationMust be a team playerExperience selling to business ownersUnderstand and use qualitative research to further sales effortsRelated military experience will be consideredDiversity StatementAt Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
