Position Summary:As a Marketing Assistant at Mud Pie, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing efforts across various channels. Your responsibilities will include media relations, content creation, event coordination, and partnership development. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and promotion of Mud Pie products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

B2C:

Proactively engage editorial staff for product and expert commentary inclusion in trend storiesProvide brand collateral and imagery for affiliate initiativesResearch and strategize partnerships with complementary businesses, devising media plansIdentify cultural trends to align Mud Pie products strategicallyManage Amazon Creator Connections platform, create campaigns, and oversee coverageIdentify opportunities for product inclusion in gift bags, influencer events, etc.Update B2C website with press coverage, refreshed copy, and imagery updates

B2B:

Actively pitch product and expert commentary to media for trend storiesDraft press releases, coordinate headshots, and nominate employees for awardsClip and record B2B press coverageHandle sample orders for press, gifting, and donationsCollaborate with third-party sales teams on marketing and PR activitiesAssist national account team with media and event requestsWork across teams for product launches and special initiativesPlan and execute seasonal market events in Atlanta and DallasResearch trends via B2B newsletters and monitor competitor activitiesEstablish relationships with loyalty accounts and local B2C publications for product promotion

Branding/Other:

Support partnerships with collateral and content creationCopywriting and editing internal and external communicationsAssist in planning and managing shoots, including vendor coordination and budgetingManage relationships and commitments, ensuring follow-through on donations and event supportCoordinate seasonal inventory for marketing samplesAssist with various administrative marketing needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Advertising or Fashion Merchandising0-1 years of work experience (relevant wholesale or retail internships are encouraged)Proactive, self-starter with ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independentlyExcellent grammar and language skills, and familiarity with AP StyleStrong communication and organizational skills and keen attention to detailExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisionsSkill in developing and maintaining relationships with media contacts, influencers, vendors, and Company leadershipAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines effectively
