The Job

Reporting to the Product Marketing & Brand Lead, this role will partner with our Product team to launch new products for our customers. You'll own insights, segmentation, product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. You will play a key role in defining our target audience for products we build, while also influencing the product roadmap and packaging strategy. Ultimately, you'll work with product, marketing, support, and sales to create the right personalized experiences for different segments to drive awareness and adoption of products you launch. Ultimately, you will be the voice of the customer.

You will make an impact byTaking insights from customer and market research and applying them to influence product choices and existing marketing & sales motionsTurning data into strategy, and strategy into tactics, to drive more awareness and adoption of Homebase productsWorking with product, sales, and marketing to build the right go-to-market for different segments of customers for new products being launchedOwning awareness and adoption of products being built for small business teamsUnderstanding the needs of small business owners and being their voiceBuilding repeatable processes for product launches, adoption tests, and customer communicationsYou are a bar raiser, which means you come with:

3-8 years of experience in SaaS marketing and 3-4 years in product marketingExperience in the SMB space is a plusStrengths in messaging and positioningExperience doing qualitative and quantitative customer and market research, defining and acting on segmentationExcellent executive communication skills: synthesizing complex problems and convincing people of your point of viewDeep customer empathyProven ability to work closely with and influence product and growth teamsExcellent project management skills and experience building go-to-market plansAnalytical mindset and comfort using data to diagnose and inform choicesThrive in a startup environment: ability to prioritize, adapt, test, and learnBe curious, detail-oriented, and a problem-solverAbility to work well cross-functionallyBA/BS degree requiredWhat We Offer
