THE ROLE

Certinia is looking for an experienced, passionate, hands-on and results-driven Sr Director, Digital & Content Marketing to join our amazing Marketing team! In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementation and management of our website, all facets of multichannel digital media as well as our content & creative strategies.. Reporting into our Chief Marketing Officer, this role will be tasked with growing a world-class digital practice and capability and driving digital innovation across the company. You are responsible for leading and overseeing our SEM efforts, digital programs, web strategy and SEO strategy. As a critical member of the demand gen team, you'll work closely with our regional campaign & field teams, product marketing, and corporate communications teams, as well as manage multiple agencies, both on and offshore, to scale and refine our current digital marketing programs.

You are a strong leader, communicator and coach, having extensive experience with B2B customer acquisition strategies, paid media tactics, conversion optimization, search engine optimization and ABM.

In previous roles. you've owned a substantial paid media budget, and successfully managed a variety of digital campaigns that drive awareness, lead generation, pipeline, and ultimately, grown revenue.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

DigitalBuild, plan, implement and manage the overall digital marketing strategy and road mapOversee and manage global paid search, social and display advertising marketing strategyBuild, scale, manage and optimize all digital marketing channels (including but not limited to Facebook, SEM, Google Adwords, website, blogs, emails, etc) and ensure brand consistencyManage digital marketing budget to ensure budget goals are hit and dollars are spent effectivelyOversee all paid media and SEO reportingForecast performance appropriately for paid search for other digital channelsBuild and execute effective marketing programs across the customer journey to optimize and accelerate revenue growthDevelop and implement testing strategies to improve KPIs including creative/copy testing, audience segmentation, ad placements, and retargeting strategy to maximize full-funnel performance.Oversee tracking of key success metrics across digital marketing channels (e.g., performance, spend, ROI, etc.)Proactively understand customer needs and how we can capture and retain their interest, as well as explore net-new acquisition channelsLeverage data to make intelligent, informed recommendations for our user acquisition tactics, paid campaigns, and targeting methodologyEstablish meaningful business insights and lead development and implementation of analytics tools to drive improvements in digital experiences.Regularly communicate key insights and recommendations to senior leaders across the organization.Identify digital initiatives that will lead to new growth opportunities, while implementing and sharing best practices across digital marketing programs.Work with sales leaders, product management, marketing team to develop and test relevant ads and landing page contentStay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape as well as new digital technology development, approaches, resources, opportunities. and best practices.Drive continued innovation and best practice implantation, regularly sharing your knowledge with marketing team and executivesContent

Oversee a blended team of both on and offshore resourcesLead the team in generating and pitching creative proposals (visions, concepts) in order to visualize the desired outputs and bring innovative campaigns to market.Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure consistency of brand identity, voice, and tone.Measure and optimize the impact of design, using quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategy and tactical execution.Scale the team, create structure, and instill processes that optimize the team's performance and impact, creating transparency across projects and proactively communicating with stakeholders.Forecast resourcing needs and work with key stakeholders to drive project schedules while prioritizing and using resources effectively, proactively communicating needs and trade-offs.Optimize the team's efficiency while also raising the bar on design quality (never satisfied with status quo), challenging your team to create innovative and impactful work.WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar fieldMinimum 15+ years of combined experience in Digital marketing (campaigns and analytics reporting), demand generation and content marketing for B2B SaaS companies.Minimum 8+ years' leadership and people management experienceSignificant experience leading and motivating globally distributed teams.Strong leadership skills and proven ability to attract, develop, inspire, coach and retain top talentStrong strategic thinker, driven to elevant the work and those around them beyond the tacticalStrong understanding of web technology as well as content management systems and how to incorporate analytics into digital user experiences.A results focused practitioner who demands accountability and learning from the past to improve the futureCreative storyteller able to articulate brand stories across touch points, channels, and campaigns.Comfortable operating and collaborating across diverse teams seamlessly in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsYou're a culture builder; you know that success isn't achievable unless you've got a fantastic team culture to drive you forward.Action-oriented and ability to work in a fast paced environment.Ability to design and execute a business plan to achieve revenue goals, determine growth strategy and align cross-functionally to drive company objectives.Effective "zooming in and out", comfortable working both strategically and tactically.Experience in resolving organizational challenges and streamlining processes that scale teams in a high-growth environment.Strong understanding of the strengths and limitations of different processes/methodologies/approaches, including when and how to utilize quantitative and qualitative insights to inform strategic and creative direction.Detail-oriented and self-sufficient, ability to find creative solutions and build something from scratch.WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT

Salary Range: $182,400 - $250,800
