Project Manager - Creative Services

Come join our team and help us design the future of the company.Job Summary:As the Creative Services Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact with our internal partners to collaborate, initiate and manage creative projects, tasks, and workflows, to ensure deliverables are executed on strategy, on budget, and on time. This will involve close partnership with the internal creative services team, brand managers, and sales team for key initiatives to support the organization.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Responsible for creative timelines and tasks within [the project management system] to help the creative leads assign work to the internal creative team for a variety of campaigns and launch deliverables. Manage internal client expectations, objectives, timelines and negotiate dates and scopes of work as needed with internal customers in marketing, product and sales.Creative fluency: Participate in the design phases including creative brief development (help clients create best briefs possible) and kick-off (schedule and facilitate kickoff meetings), creative concepting and reviews (schedule reviews and keep deliverables on track), feedback and revisions (track down and collate feedback for designers) and debriefs. Well-versed in pre-production and post-production phases and various steps/stage gates of a commercialization process in order to communicate effectively with creative team and clients. Ability to manipulate and navigate Photoshop/InDesign/etc. files/formats to support the design team as needed.Insights and Reporting: Monthly reporting on # of projects complete, pending, cost targets, etc. in order to drive continuous improvement for efficiency of department.Connector: Able to clearly communicate with cross functional partners across the business in marketing, product, sales, operations and outside agencies and vendors. Goal is to free designers up to design, rather than to monitor due dates and track down internal clients/logistics.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience preferred.Proven experience in creative services, preferably within the consumer goods or pet products industry. Advertising agency experience a plus.Exceptional project management skills; preferred agile workflow training/certification and proven ability to work in both remote and in-person work environments.Next-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to herd cats, cajole tantrum-ing toddlers, and find the needle in the haystack.Collaborate effectively & efficiently with cross-functional teams and external partners both in person and remotely.Proven track record of successfully managing a high volume of complex projects within a dynamic organization.Strong understanding of the creative process, production, digital file formats; Photoshop and InDesign fluency required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist and turn.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.Work environment is indoors, majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
