Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote. Must be Local!!)Position Overview:HCT is in search of creative, energetic, and talented graphic designers to join our Santa Monica office. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of design-orientated projects from brand development, production placement and detailed illustrations and graphics. The position requires the capability to work with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and sales to provide design solutions that exceed client and management expectations.Graphic and Trend DesignerResponsibilities:Research, edit, and present Design & consumer trends to inspire internal teams and clients.Build impactful stories and designs for branding development, brand identity systems and packaging using macro to micro trends research and analysis.Experience in sustainable design principles that bring purpose-driven concepts to life is a plus.Maintain brand standards and brand integrityWork on client projects as well as on HCT in-house projectsConduct clear and engaging design presentations to internal stakeholders and/or clientsDrive and define graphic concepts from the early stage to the final design with on-brand, trend-inspired and iconic designs.Translate conceptual graphics into production-ready artwork files to pass off to the factory for manufacturing, ensuring that design details are carried through production.Qualifications / Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's DegreeMinimum 3-5 years related work experience in graphic and trends designMust have experience in branding, retail/CPG, and print productionPOP, and structural packaging experience a plusBeauty or wellness Industry a plusProficient in all design-related programs. Fluent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), and expert knowledge in the Macintosh platform.
