Two Six Technologies is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
Junior Web Developer
to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about web development and eager to grow their skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. As a Junior Web Developer, you will work closely with our development team to create and maintain high-quality web applications and contribute to the success of our projects.
** This role will move from Herndon VA to Chantilly VA in 2025
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of web applications and websites.Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and functionalities.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.Perform testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.Keep up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends, and share knowledge with the team.Support the maintenance and optimization of existing web applications.Work closely with designers and other team members to ensure a seamless user experience.Requirements:
2 plus years of experienceStrong understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with at least one web development framework or library such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Basic understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with server-side programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or PHP.Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.Familiarity with front-end build tools and preprocessors such as Webpack, Babel, or Sass.Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies such as Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.Participation in personal or open-source projects showcasing web development skills.Relevant internships or work experience in web development or related fieldsExperience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
