Job Description SummaryReporting to the Senior Vice President of Development & Communications, the Vice President of Marketing oversees and leads the development, execution and management of Enterprise's brand, marketing strategies, campaigns, and events to support the long-term strategic direction of the organization and ensure a consistent brand experience that aligns with Enterprise's mission. As a senior member of the Resource Development & Communications team, the Vice President of Marketing will support the team in creating and deploying strategies to engage stakeholders, amplify our message, and generate support.

The Vice President of Marketing is the primary core storyteller and plays the lead role in a broad range of deadline-driven and detail-oriented projects. They will be focused internally and externally, across all divisions of Enterprise with an emphasis on being the brand champion for the organization and providing day-to-day leadership of a team of eight.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead the vision, strategy, and creative efforts of Enterprise's marketing team and collaborate closely with the Vice President of Communications in delivery and execution of our content creation strategies, positioning of subject matter experts, and awareness building.Direct marketing efforts, campaigns, and events to ensure they are consistent with Enterprise's brand identity and reflect Enterprise's mission; lead the team creating core storytelling materials, brand messaging, evergreen assets, and video/photography.Revitalize Enterprise Residential's marketing strategy in close collaboration with Community Development and Residential leadership to boost staff recruitment and occupancy rates.Create and oversee an organizational wide event strategy that promotes our leaders and subject matter experts, leverages sponsorships when appropriate, raises awareness.Provide support to the Resource Development and Communications team as well as leaders from across Enterprise to engage existing audiences and grow our national constituency of supporters and allies.Serve as a resource and advisor to the a) digital team, responsible for digital platforms, and b) development services team, responsible for direct e-appeals and annual fundraising; define and lead campaigns that support fundraising, investor engagement, and advocacy, as well as broader brand elevation.Foster relationships with key stakeholders and audiences to ensure business needs are met and supported across all markets, programs, and business lines.Manage, mentor, and retain a team of 8 professionals (Enterprise Residential's marketing team of 3; a marketing director; an art director; and an events team of 3); interact with vendors and contractors, and oversee marketing budget.Set and deliver on robust KPIs - supporting our diverse lines of business, advocacy efforts, and thought leadership across the country; provide meaningful analysis and recommendations promoting data-driven decision making.Lead critical agency partnerships, oversee budgets, and ensure stewardship of Enterprise resources.Has an aptitude for presenting to C-suite leaders and business partners, customizing deep expertise in marketing to support and respond to leaders.Possess a deep appreciation and passion for Enterprise's mission and strategic plan pillars: preservation of affordable housing, racial equity, upward mobility, and resilience.Qualifications:

20 years of marketing, brand, communications workstreams/channels in a complex, fast-moving environmentBachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), or equivalent degree10 years of direct people management experienceDemonstrated expertise in creating and executing marketing and branding strategiesProven experience serving as an in-house consultant to other teams, understanding their needs and advising them on approaches to meet their business goalsStrong understanding of constituent engagement metrics, benchmarking and goal-setting, with analytical mindset and a love of data-driven insightsExperience driving team activities with multiple priorities and significant external engagement of constituentsExcellent project management skills, with fast-evolving priorities and tight timelinesExperience managing internal teams and external vendors to support execution of workplanAbility to work cross-functionally to achieve results aligned with organizational objectivesStrong verbal and written communication skills, excellent diplomacy, and service-oriented approachTeam player who brings a positive attitude and can-do approach to their work

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family.

The base salary for this role is $180,000 to $200,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
