Caring. Connecting. Growing together.Optum Serve is looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist. This individual contributor will be responsible for supporting the development of content, templates, and outreach to support our federal client who is looking to improve and standardize service delivery and end-user support services across a large IT organization. You will support the Communication Strategy Plan, projects and initiatives put forth by the program. This position will maintain a working knowledge of available services, service benefits, schedule, roles and responsibilities, and processes to engage stakeholders relevant for the federal health business.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Support execution of project Communication Strategy Plan, managing a variety of efforts and communications among and across all stakeholdersAlign with management, client and teams to develop, design and deliver communication templates and distribution lists to provide targeted communications to stakeholdersDraft client-facing materials such as emails, memos, newsletters, Teams posts, FAQs, surveys and other itemsContribute to monthly reporting to include status updates, deployment progress and new capabilitiesCreate reusable content and templates for new functionality, scheduled maintenance/upgrades and service disruptions as neededMonitor specified discussion groups, community channels and other modes of communication for questions/issues to provide timely response tools for related itemsEnforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity of message externally as well as internally (ensure adherence across the organization)Collaborate with all teams to coordinate and conduct virtual program educational webinars to internal and external audiencesCoordinate re-usable success stories (including new products deployed and new capabilities released) to be highlighted in virtual webinarsWrite/edit content that is aligned with applicable audience / stakeholder needs, that is clear, simple, error free, and grammatically correctContinuously measure content/template/FAQs relative to company and client KPIs and goals

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:3+ years of corporate marketing and/or communications, preferably in healthcare fieldWork with cross functional teams including print delivery fulfillment, email, creative, data analytics and data teams for communication campaignsAbility to develop compelling content and execute associated deliverables via multimedia channels including web content, social posts, emails, online videos, webinar presentationsSophisticated command of grammar, vocabulary and writing mechanics; story-telling mindsetExperience with marketing automation and design tools, such as SFMC, Adobe AEM/Creative Suite, Eloqua and Marketo

Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with the VA, DOD or other government agenciesExperience or knowledge of health care industryJournalism backgroundHighly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time

Total Compensation.

The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
