User Experience Researcher

The User Experience Researcher (UX Researcher) plays a key role in evaluating the experience of our cloud-based enterprise software. They conduct user research studies, using various methods, to inform design and product management strategy. They are an influential advocate for user-centered design both internally and externally and approach research with pragmatism.As a UX Researcher, you are responsible for infusing user-centered design thinking in everything the UX and Product teams do. You challenge your team to improve both key UX metrics (user feedback, adoption, user satisfaction, and customer retention), and business metrics (customer satisfaction, reviews, sales, market-share).This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work in a PROS office, if in proximity.The Company - PROS:PROS Holdings, Inc. Our customers, who are leaders in their markets, benefit from decades of data science expertise infused into our industry solutions.A Day in the Life of the User Experience Researcher:Works closely with Research Lead, product team members, and various stakeholders to develop, conduct and report insights from user research studiesUtilizes research methods such as: contextual inquiry, interviewing, task analysis, competitive analysis, formative and summative usability testing, A/B testing, personas, surveys, statistical analysis and card sortingUtilizes data visualization software to analyze and disseminate quantitative dataEducates the team on the latest usability research methodsEvangelizes user-centered design inside and outside the companyPossibly includes low-fidelity prototyping, heuristic reviews, and web analyticsThis position will require working with colleagues in European time zonesRequired Qualifications - About you:We are looking for candidates who possess the rare combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors:You're accomplished.
