Department OverviewThe Site Design Team assists the Systems Integration Team in both Pre-Sale and Post-Sale efforts, focusing on the Civil portion of Projects. The Systems Integration Team sets business goals to successfully implement and integrate complex Motorola systems. This includes working with various disciplines both internal and external to Motorola, in the interest of providing total customer satisfaction and achieving Division goals. The candidate should be a seasoned professional having wide-ranging experience who can use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.Job Description

Job Description:

The SDT West Manager will lead the SDT West Team to provide insight and guidance into the development of Civil and Construction Services during the PreSale and Proposal phases of opportunities. In all instances, the Manager ensures that the team employs its best efforts to protect the interests of MSI and further the intended goals and purpose of the future Project. Subject to the direction of the Motorola PreSale Business Managers, the SDT Manager will have ultimate responsibility for overseeing Scope and Pricing of the Civil portion of opportunities, performed by the SDT Team. In addition, the SDT Manager will provide oversight and assistance to the PostSale Project Team for the Civil and Construction portion of the implementation phase of those projects.

Primary Responsibilities:Work with the Sales and PreSale Teams to determine Civil Scope for OpportunitiesOversee collaboration with MSI Civil Vendors to develop written Scope and PricingEngage with SDT Team to obtain competitive quotes for Civil Equipment, including but not limited to Towers, Shelters & GeneratorsEnsure all Deliverable are being provided to PBMs, such as Statements of Work (SOW), Construction Schedules that meet Contractual obligations, Detailed Pricing by specific tasksIdentify Risks and Challenges to Schedule & Scope, and develop mitigation measuresEnsure MSI Civil Vendors are providing contracted Services and maintaining scheduleOversee proper engagement between Civil Vendors and the MSI Project TeamAdditional Responsibilities:

When necessary, engage with PostSale Project Team to overcome obstaclesAssist PostSale Project Managers with Change Order opportunitiesProvide Support and Training to PostSale Teams to increase overall effectivenessRecord Lessons Learned to further develop the skillsets of PreSale and PostSale TeamsPreferred Skills/Knowledge:
