At Bottle Rocket, our Experience Design (XD) team is a combination of world-class, multi-disciplinary designers and researchers who create innovative and successful products, services and experiences for an array of industries, many of them Fortune 1000 brands. Our team specializes in experience visioning and strategy, visual and interaction design, as well as robust research competencies to inform, validate and evolve the experiences we create. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to design exceptional user experiences for our clients, balancing their business goals with the users' wants and needs. You will play a lead role in crafting a vision for products, designing delightful user journeys, features, and workflows. You are excellent at both UX and UI. As a senior member of the team, you will be able to tackle complex projects and handle ambiguous design requests.What Your Next Opportunity Looks Like• Lead an Experience Design Team in creating concepts, user flows, wireframes, comps andprototypes to communicate a compelling vision for the product. In this role, you may lead other designers or you may be a sole contributor.• Leverage service design expertise to craft cohesive end-to-end experiences for customers.• Partner with sales to understand client needs and translate them into feasible technical solutions. Influence the product roadmap.• Analyze user research findings (usability tests, discovery sessions, on-site research) to translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.• Define and prioritize project deliverables based on research results and client needs. Manage the scope, dependencies, and risks of the experiences you create, estimating the time and resources required to achieve client goals.• Be comfortable working with a client's existing design team to understand their work, identify gaps in thinking, and collaborate within any constraints.• Collaborate with visual designers, developers, project managers, and product ownersthroughout the design process.• Balance an iterative approach and urgency to solve customer pain with ensuring that short term improvements ladder up to long-term vision and meet a high bar for the customer experience.• Speak clearly to design decisions in terms non-designers can understand and participate in.What You'll Need• 5+ years of experience in a user experience role or relevant professional or academic experience.• Expert design instincts & best practice knowledge to translate user problems, user goals,business objectives and technical constraints into excellent product experiences.• Strong background in information architecture, wireframing, UI, and product thinking.• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital experiences, including web and nativeprojects.• Written and verbal communication skills to clearly and persuasively articulate and sell your design ideas.
