Location - Remote but candidates must be in one of the locations listed by Regions(Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Birmingham, Dallas, Houston, Tampa, Orlando, DenverPrimary ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with Designers, Developers, Content Specialists, Subject Matter Experts, Technology and Line of Business partners to influence product developmentDevelops guidelines for architects, designers and developers to aid in compliance with the current version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)Provides accessibility expert guidance to UX Design, UX Content, UX Engineers and Technology developersSupports Procurement by participating in third party tool reviews to assess Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance and identify potential issues onboarding new toolsEngages in quality audits and assist with remediation roadmaps where necessaryConducts accessibility testing for enterprise digital using manual and automated methods for desktop and mobile applicationsUses assistive technologies to evaluate digital propertiesAssesses level of conformity to WCAG standards and assign a severity level of issues that are uncoveredManages and prioritizes critical ADA defectsTroubleshoots accessibility issues and provide the necessary HTML, CSS and JavaScript changes for remediation as neededCommunicates findings and recommendations in a variety or mediums (video, screen cast, confluence)Reviews and approve accessibility JIRA tickets in SAFEProvides project-based team training for ADA awareness, implementing solutions and to ultimately foster innovation through accessibilityMay train internal Accessibility Analysts in order to standardize methodologies, systems and processes

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, human factors, HCI, or related field8+years experience performing accessibility testingExperience testing native Mobile Apps for AccessibilityExperience using ADA tools JAWS, NVDA, iOS VoiceOver, Android Talkback, WAVE, AXEExperience with ARIA markup, knowledge of JavaScript, semantic HTMLIn depth knowledge of ADA standards (WCAG)
