Position Details
The Department of Communication at The University of Tampa has a position available for a Part-time Temporary Graphic Design Assistant. This position will begin in June and end in August. This is a part-time project budgeted for 20 hours.
Responsibilities1. Meet with faculty member via Zoom to discuss project details.2. Create 2 print ads that will be used as part of an online research study into food choice behavior. Provide 3 options for each of the 2 print ads (6 ad designs total).3. Based on faculty input, make up to 2 rounds of revisions to the two final ads that are chosen.4. Provide final files in PNG format.
5. Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds.
Qualifications1. Highly proficient with design software (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop...).2. Strong portfolio of professional-quality ad design work.
3. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.

Pay Rate
Compensation for a highly-qualified candidate is $20 per hour
Work Schedule
Part-time schedule not to exceed 29 hours per week/1000 hours per year
