Role Overview:
The
Motion Graphic Designer / Editor
role is primarily responsible for designing and producing high quality motion graphics for Vineyard Columbus. This position is a combination of technical skills and creative ability that includes all aspects of motion design from conceptualizing to delivery.
What you’ll do:
Motion Design:Design and produce motion graphics for various projects, such as social media, websites, advertisement materials, and videosResearch, prepare and gather materials/ideas for creative motion designPrepare static design concepts and storyboards from design or project briefsAmend, adapt and edit motion graphics following feedbackCreate digital assets and motion design products using a range of software including Adobe After Effects and Premiere ProCreate motion assets for Sunday servicesWork with the Communications and Digital team to advise on digital/motion design and creative approaches that effectively communicate the church’s message.Project Management:
Work closely with the Communications team and other church staff to gather ideas and conceptsWork closely with film and video team to create and deliver motion graphics that add production value to ongoing projectsParticipate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for motion graphic contentManage multiple content creation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputCoordinate with external partners and vendors as needed for content productionVideo Editing:
Edit and produce high-quality video content for diverse projects, such as social media content, websites, advertisement materials, and church servicesReview raw footage and select the best clips for the final edit, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrativePerform post-production tasks, including color correction, audio editing, and adding visual effects to enhance video qualityAmend, adapt, and edit video following stakeholder feedback, ensuring all revisions are executed to a high standardWhat you bring:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Motion Design, or other related field1-3 years of experience in video editing, motion design or another related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdobe Creative Suite primarily using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro but has a fundamental understanding of other creative softwareAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesWe offer:
