Job Description:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Expeditor with experience in the buying process and supplier coordination.In this role, you will be responsible for expediting orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Job Responsibilities:
Expeditor will expedite purchase orders to meet delivery deadlines.Communicate effectively with suppliers to track order status.Resolve any issues or delays in the procurement process.Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities.Expeditor will collaborate with internal teams to optimize procurement procedures.
Required Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.1+ years of experience in procurement or a related field.Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
Skill/Experience/Education:Mandatory:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.Knowledge of supply chain management principles.1+ years of experience in procurement or a related field - High school diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills:
Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
