The Role
We are expanding our design team to support our company's rapid growth. We are looking for a talented Designer with experience in both print and e-commerce design to create and develop on-brand materials, including labels, Amazon & Chewy image stacks and A+ content, digital marketing materials, digital ads, logo creation, and website design. Our ideal candidate must have a passion for great design, a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of design principles, excellent typography skills, and expertise in image manipulation. This candidate should have a positive attitude, be able to work independently as well as collaborate with senior creative staff on a range of design projects, and, of course, be a pet lover!
Salary: $55,000-$70,000/year, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Graphic Designer include, but are not limited to:
Design and develop creatives for new and existing product lines, including labels, digital marketing materials, and other print and web materials as neededMaintain brand guidelines and ensure continuity across expanding product linesPrioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and timelinesUpdate existing collateral whenever changes are requestedEnsure projects are completed with high quality and on schedulePay close attention to details for all deliverablesProduce consistently excellent visual workBe willing to work on other projects and duties as assignedQualifications
Qualifications for Graphic Designer
Strong design skills with a compelling portfolio of work across a range of creative projects4+ years of experience in Graphic DesignExcellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoshopAbility to work on both print and digital deliverablesExcellent typography skills and an eye for detailStrong analytical and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow established brand guidelinesPositive attitudeAbility to work as part of a team as well as independentlyAbility to take direction, listen to feedback, and use it to improveMotivation to maintain and improve design standardsAbility to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or Communications
