We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team at Knowledge Coop, a dynamic and growing SaaS company specializing in providing engaging and trusted training solutions in an online knowledge-sharing platform serving the mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creativity and analytical skills, a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, and a commitment to creating seamless and engaging user experiences. This role will involve close collaboration with our product, development, and marketing teams to enhance the usability, accessibility, and overall experience of our products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors. Analyze research data to generate insights and inform design decisions.Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.UI Design: Develop high-quality UI designs that are visually appealing and consistent with our brand identity. Create detailed design specifications and guidelines.Collaboration: Work closely with the product team, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather user feedback and iteratively improve designs. Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations.Design Systems: Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all products.Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies. Continuously seek opportunities to improve our design processes and standards.Special Skills

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or similar is nice to have.Coding Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Ability to work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.Basic Web Design: Ability to leverage website builders like Duda, or SquarespaceAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven design decisions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and articulate design ideas and concepts effectively to various stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating high-quality designs that meet user needs and business objectives.Competencies

Education: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a SaaS environment.Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects and demonstrating design thinking and problem-solving skills.
