Job Title: UI/UX Designer (User Research and Usability Focus)
Work with an impactful and mission-focused insurance team with 2,000,000+ members and $109 billion of life insurance coverage in a role with great leadership and growth potential.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, UX Researcher, or similar role.Portfolio of design projects showcasing strong UI/UX skills, with a focus on user research and usability.Proficiency in Figma (Adobe XD a plus).Solid understanding of design principles, user interface design best practices, and usability testing methodologies.Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing for mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and responsive web design.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Familiarity with front-end development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to communicate effectively with developers.Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.Responsibilities:
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback through methods like interviews, usability testing, and analytics.Translate user insights into actionable design recommendations that enhance user experience.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Adobe XDCollaborate with cross-functional teams (including product managers, developers, and marketers) to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design technologies.
