Mondo defers to the applicable State or local law for paid sick leave eligibilityJob DescriptionYou'll work alongside talented and passionate teammates from diverse backgrounds. Together, you'll identify customer problems or opportunities, develop the strategic UX vision, and communicate that narrative across the business. You'll lead a cross-functional team through a user-centered design approach, both hands-on and facilitation. This work will culminate in the execution of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user experiences that validate the strategy, hypotheses, and business/user goals.

What You'll Do

:

Utilize user-centered design approaches to define the customer problem/opportunity with cross-functional teamsDevelop concepts, wireframes, and prototypes, through facilitation and hands-on workProduce high-fidelity UI deliverables for engineering handoff and collaborate with engineering to ensure design quality in the final productIterate on design solutions based on research and analytics/metricsPartner with Product Management to ensure a customer-centric solution from prototype through the releasePromote design guidelines, best practices, and standardsStay current on the research of emerging industry trends and the competitive landscape to provide insight on ways to improve visual design, usability and functionality, and holistic experiencesConnect design strategy to business resultsMaintain existing UX/UI style guides.Partner with the research team to plan, design, and in some cases, conduct research to inform your design decisionsBe a collaborative, systems-thinker that continues to find ways to evolve and improve how we workDeliver user experiences that meet or beat success criteria, driving measurable results such as higher adoption, higher engagement, lifetime value, etc.Leverage and contribute to the existing design system, in some cases crafting everything from component level pixels to documentation for implementation and widespread usageContribute to all scrum team ceremonies, representing designProvide support and feedback to design teammates to cultivate designs and culture that feel harmoniousRequired Qualifications

6+ years of experience crafting experiences for complex consumer-facing products or e-commerce companies.A current portfolio that demonstrates the ability to tell a concise and compelling story that articulates the thought process behind the design and illustrates your design style.The link must be on your resume. The portfolio is as important as your resume.Vast experience designing solutions for a variety of users and systems grounded in user, business, and technical insights.Driving, defining, and helping establish process.Working closely with a software delivery team is required, and agile methodology is preferred.Previous JIRA experienceExcel through ambiguity when given the freedom to ask questions, identify valuable problems to solve, and solve them without strict direction.Self-starter with a desire to find and solve problems collaboratively.Passionate, positive, and with excellent interpersonal skills.Comfortable with critique, collaboration, and co-authorship.Experience designing projects with a variety of stakeholdersExperience designing and prototyping complex workflows with Sketch, Figma, Invision or similar products; Expert-level knowledge of Invision and/or SketchExperience creating UX artifacts from large complex systems (e.g. IA, wireframes, journey maps, etc.)A strong curiosity and desire to learn about and empathize with our community of designers and developersPossess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great resultsBS or BA degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI/Design Diploma or Degree, or a related area
