Cabinet Designer

We are looking for an energetic Cabinet Designer experienced with Cabinetry and Countertops to join an exciting new opportunity with a growing team! The Cabinet Designer will be responsible for estimating and designing a variety of styles and product models for builders and contractors. The Cabinet Designer will consider the intended purposes of each project, along with clients style preferences, when drafting and designing plans and layouts.

Responsibilities for the Cabinet Designer

:Utilize 20/20 software to design Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry and CountertopsAnalyze architectural and structural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify scope work and complexity of the project.Prepare accurate take-offs and material lists from drawings and specifications.Effective communication and attention to detail are essential to ensure the successful completion of projects in a timely manner and satisfied customers every time.Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to prepare proposals and bids for potential projects.Review project plans and contracts to ensure all requirements are understood and included in the estimate.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estimates, bids, and contracts.Requirements of the Cabinet Designer

Minimum 3-5+ years

of

Cabinetry Design &

Estimating

experience with Residential and/or Commercial Construction projectsProficient in

20/20

softwareProficient in reading blueprints and cabinet layoutsExperienced in cabinetry design, field measurements and takeoffsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
