THE ROLE:
FloSports is looking to bring on a Sr. Content Creator for FloTrack who is dedicated to our mission of providing the track and field / elite running community the coverage they deserve. The ideal candidate lives and breathes track and field / elite running, has professional or extensive personal content creation experience, and is able to bring their innovative and impactful story ideas to life through written and video content with a heavy emphasis on social media and platform-specific content.
Candidates must be passionate about and have existing influence within the track and field / elite running communities, have a nose for compelling storylines, and understand how to grow your voice as an authority in these communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create compelling, platform-specific content-video, graphics, and written-that resonates with the target audience and maximizes engagement.Spotlight the top athletes, personalities and trends in your sport with interesting stories.Travel the world to lead amazing coverage of live events; conducting interviews, chasing big stories and giving fans a front-row seat to the action.Work with your team in content creation meetings, brainstorming to come up with strategies that grow and engage the community.Keep a pulse on the fans and key figures in the sport in order to constantly improve by eliciting and listening to feedback from your audience.Handle multiple content projects at once because you're a multi-tasking machine that can be relied on.Be a news hound by staying on top of every story and news item unfolding in track and field to ensure you provide comprehensive coverage to your readers.Be a social media influencer and help find other big social media entities who can help promote your content around the world.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
You are an authority on track and field / elite running, and you're obsessive about staying on top of the latest developments.You enjoy being in front of the camera and using your unique personality to build relationships with athletes, coaches, fans, and other stakeholders in the community.You produce authentic and accurate copy that compels people to engage with your content.
