About the role:
As a Part-Time UX/UI Designer with EMS|MC, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding user experiences for our digital products.
As a UX/UI Designer with EMS|MC, you will:
Design intuitive, engaging, and responsive user interfaces for web applications.Quickly and iteratively develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.Ensure the design is in line with the brand identity and business goals.Collaborate daily with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.Communicate design concepts and specifications to the development team.Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.Use analytics tools such as Figma and Adobe to assess the performance of the design.Implement changes based on user feedback and data.Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.Analyze user feedback and activity to develop insights that inform design decisions.Create user personas, journey maps, and use case scenarios.Continuously and proactively seek to improve the user experience and design process.Other Responsibilities/Activities
Advocate for best practices in design and user experience.Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.Requirements
You will be successful in this role if you:
Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.3-5 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer.Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and demonstrating user-centered design skills.Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Key skills we hope you have:
Experience working with billing software within healthcare field.Proficiency with FigmaKnowledge of front-end frameworksCreative problem-solving skills.Ability to think critically and ask the right questions.Empathy and a passion for creating user-centered designs.Work at Home Requirements:
A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home.A secure home internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads is required.The workspace area accommodates all workstation equipment and related materials and provides adequate surface area to be productive.
