The User Experience Research, Strategy & Design Team is a dynamic team of UX Research, Data Strategists, UX Designers, and Copywriters. Our mission is to champion a culture of design thinking that results in useful, scalable, and engaging experiences that deliver product excellence across the TCGplayer brand. We champion a user-centered design approach and advocate for customers as we build alongside our Product and Technology teammates.

We are looking for a highly collaborative and motivated Senior User Experience Designer to work within our Product Design Team on key initiatives related to the TCGplayer seller experience, such as seller tools, accounts, and onboarding. As a member of a cross-functional project team, you'll balance customer needs and business goals to deliver products and features that promote the success of our sellers and marketplace. You'll apply the full range of your diverse UX skills throughout an iterative design process, and proactively drive the work to a successful launch.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about understanding the needs, motivations and workflows of our customers and can translate those needs into beautiful, user-centered designs that deliver value and promote customer success. Their solutions are heavily rooted in quantitative data and qualitative insights, and they have experience leading UX design initiatives throughout the full product development lifecycle.

What you will accomplish:

As a Senior UX Designer on the Seller Experience team, you will

Rapidly prototype, build and ideate on designs informed by user needs, data, business objectives and technical capabilities; resulting in scalable experiences that can be adopted by multiple groups and span across multiple channels of the business.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, working closely with our engineering, product and business partners to find solutions that meet the needs of both the business and customers.Build solutions with the appropriate level of detail and fidelity for every UX phase of the product development life cycle, actively scaling design assets from simple sketches, design concepts, high-fidelity wireframes, clickable prototypes and final annotated design deliverables.Design for accessibility standards and help to maintain standardized design language systems.Work closely with UX Researchers/Strategists on testing protocol, collection and synthesis of customer insights to ensure UX solutions are aligned to customer expectations.Help build new design processes to improve the quality of products delivered while increasing the speed of delivery.What you will bring:

7+ years of related experience designing at tech companies or digital agencies, along with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study, or a combination of education and experience.A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your process for crafting user-centered and business impactful design solutions.Proven experience leading full life cycle design projects, from design strategy through execution and market introduction.Experience working within an agile environment and a multidisciplinary team, including: your fellow designers, product managers, software engineers, front end engineers and other partners.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including ability to adapt messaging as appropriate for varying audiences.Mastery of standard interactive design tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.Understanding of HTML, CSS and frontend frameworks like Vue.Extensive experience conducting agile user research, with a focus on usability testing and solution mapping for applications, software and websites.Experience using AB testing tools and analyzing user feedback and activity, and the ability to use that data to improve the user experience.Extensive experience developing seamless, unified designs that span across multiple channels of a business and are accessible to a variety of users from many devices and platforms.
